SAVILE has created a uniquely contextualised TAE programs just for Secondary School teachers and education support staff.

Specifically designed for schools our fast- tracked design means that approximately 85% or more of the assessment work is completed during these three face-to-face days – with many previous participants submitting all tasks by the conclusion of the course.

SAVILE runs TAE courses regularly throughout the year.

– TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set (3 units): minimum requirements for qualified Secondary School Teachers to train and assess VET in any context.

– TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set (5 units): an additional 2 units, with focus on VETDSS.

– TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (12 units): for existing teachers who want a deeper understanding of VET and other school staff that do not hold a teaching qualification but have existing skills in a vocational area to teach VET.

TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set: MINIMUM requirements for Secondary School Teachers

– 3 consecutive days – all practical tasks completed in class time

– 9.00am to 3.30pm – with option to stay to 5.00pm to work on assessments with support.

Cost:  $1495 for existing teachers

These courses are held regularly at Savile HQ (Yarraville, VIC) or can be delivered in your school for 10 or more participants.
