Designed for schools, our fast-tracked format means approximately 85% or more of the assessment work is completed during the three face-to-face days, with many previous participants submitting all tasks by the conclusion of the course.

Available TAE Course Options
TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set (3 units):
Minimum requirements for qualified secondary school teachers to train and assess VET in any context.
TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set (5 units):
An additional 2 units, with a focus on VETDSS.
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (12 units):
For existing teachers who want a deeper understanding of VET, and other school staff who do not hold a teaching qualification but have existing skills in a vocational area to teach VET.
Face-to-Face Classes
TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set: Minimum Requirements for Secondary School Teachers
1. 3 consecutive days, with all practical tasks completed in class time
2. 9.00am to 3.30pm, with the option to stay until 5.00pm to work on assessments with support
Cost: $1495 per teacher
These courses are held regularly at SAVILE HQ in Yarraville, VIC, or can be delivered in your school for 10 or more participants.

Online Classes
TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set: Minimum Requirements for Secondary School Teachers
1. 5 x half-days, delivered live in a Zoom classroom
2. 3 x half-days of optional support after your class to work on assessments with support

1. Spread over 3 weeks to consolidate learning
2. 5 x half-days of live online training
3. 3 x half-days of optional assessment support
4. Half-day sessions from 9.00am to 1.00pm to reduce Zoom fatigue

TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Completion of the Assessor Skill Set first, plus additional online classes.
1. 3 single days for existing teachers, plus completion of an RPL* portfolio; or
2. 5 single days for non-teaching staff
3. Additional optional support days are provided
Classes run from 9.00am to 3.30pm, with the option to stay until 5.00pm to work on assessments with support.
Cost: $2950 per teacher (*includes up to 6 RPL units)
Cost: $3495 for non-teaching staff
